Animal Fighting is Cruel and Inhumane
Animal fighting is a serious issue. The sole purpose of this sick practice is for profit and entertainment. Report any animal fight activities to law enforcement and animal welfare investigators.

DOG FIGHTING Dogs involved in dog fighting are often severly injured or killed during a fight. These fights may last for hours until one of the animals either quits or dies. These animals do not receive vertinary attention. Losers that do not die, may be tortured, starved to death, or killed by their owners. Other animals, such as owned pets or strays may be stolen and used as "bait" to train fighting dogs. These pets or strays often suffer in great pain before they die. Dogs that are used for fighting are often subjected to severe abuse in order to make them vicious.

Punish the deed, not the breed
Cock Fighting Cockfighting is a barbaric blood sport in which two roosters are placed in a pit to fight, usually to the death. Their natural spurs are sawed off and replaced by razor sharp steel blades called 'gaffs'.
These blades measure up to three inches long. Both winners and losers suffer severe injuries such as broken wings, gouged eyes and punctured lungs. Cockfighting is illegal in all but THREE states:
Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

BULL FIGHTING Some 35,000 bulls are tormented and killed each year in bull fights. Before a fight, a bull will be debilitated with tranquilizers and laxatives. Heavy weights are hung around their necks for weeks before a fight. They endure beatings, have petroleum jelly rubbed in their eyes to blur their vision and are confined in darkness for hours before being released into the bright arena. Upon entering the ring, the bull is repeatedly stabbed by the metador, two picadors on horses and three men on foot. Once the bull is completely weakened by blood loss, fear and exhaustion, the metador attempts to make a clean kill with a sword to the heart. The metador is rarely successful on the first try, and often makes several attempts, missing the heart and piercing his lungs instead. Often a dagger is used to sever the bulls spinal cord to spare the audience the sight of an animal in the throes of death.
